First Aid Training Courses
Training is available through non-profit groups that sponsor a training class, and through online instruction available on this page. To sponsor a training class for your group please use the Contact Us button to the left.
 
Convenient Online Training
Online instruction is more convenient because the course can be taken with greater convenience, however the online courses have higher costs to cover the associated fees charged by ECSI for the online program. Online training is provided as a convenience to those who prefer this method of certification. Individuals may take the online training, then demonstrate proficiency in person (takes only a few minutes). Call (801) 804-5386 to schedule the in-person proficiency portion of the class BEFORE purchasing the online training.
 
If you purchase an online class using a link on this page, please allow up to 24 hours to receive your registration code and the link to your training class which will be sent to you by E-mail.
 
You can take your online training any time of the day or night that is convenient to you. Stop and start as often as you like to get it done within your available time. Simply print out the completion certificate and bring it with you to the proficiency testing location.
 
Payment and registration for online training can be made using the links on this page using PayPal or your credit card. The fee shown is for the online course only. Optional manuals and the proficiency testing fee are paid at the location where you demonstrate your proficiency (there is no proficiency fee for non-profit volunteers). (Refunds cannot be made once you login using your course registration code. Refunds can only be given for codes that have not been activated.)
 
Businesses needing in-person or online classes for employees may call for scheduling. In-person training and proficiency demonstration is available throughout the country on request.
 
                                                                                                
Purchase Online Training
Select the class you wish to take and click the payment button. You will receive a receipt immediately by E-mail, and another E-mail will be sent within 24 hours with your online training code and link to take your course. If you fail to receive the code in 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) please call (801) 804-5386.
 
How Online Classes Work
Online classes make learning simple, and convenient. After each concept is taught a simple multiple choice test is given. If the test questions are answered correctly the course will continue. If an error is made the concept is repeated and the test is given again. Stop and start the training as often as desired. Continue until all portions are completed successfully then print out the certificate.
 
Demonstrate Proficiency
After taking an online class and receiving a completion certificate, you will be required to demonstrate your ability to perform CPR and other skills to an instructor in your local area. The instructor may charge a small fee for this service if the instructor is not part of our volunteer network. Normally it only takes a few minutes for you to complete this. Call to schedule your proficiency demonstration before you take the online course. The proficiency demonstration is not a test. The instructor will help you until you get it right.

This training is for adult, child and infant instruction. The cost is $19.59.
